CORONAVIRUS UPDATE FROM NPMA
The National Pest Management Association wants you to know that we are concerned for the entire pest management industry during these vulnerable times. We have a vital role to play in the industry we serve, just as you have a vital role to play with your customers. Effective immediately, we are making our NPMA member’s-only page on coronavirus information available to the entire industry. On this comprehensive webpage we have up-to-date information, preparedness documents for employers and commonly asked questions. We hope this webpage will help you cull through the massive amounts of information available. NPMA will continue to monitor the situation and update the industry as needed.
In uncertain times like these, we all need to work together. Whether you are an NPMA member or not, we are all protectors of public health, food and property. By following the latest trusted science, we will get through this together.
The creation of the Global Pest Management Coalition came naturally after the successes of the Global Summit conferences organized in France (2015), New York (2017), and the creation of World Pest Day in Beijing (2017). Those three events underlined the potential impact of a global message and a coordinated worldwide action supported by the professionalism of our industry.
The mission of the Global Pest Management Coalition is to provide a unified voice across the globe promoting the value of pest management in ensuring the protection of health, home, food and businesses.
The next Global Pest Management Coalition meeting will be held during the 2020 Global Summit for Food Safety and Public Health in Singapore on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
